my story so far…
Use your words.
Eavesdrop on the world.
Play with your food.
As a writer and a musician, I’m constantly observing, seeking connections and listening for harmonies, absurdities, and nuances. That’s why I surround myself with weird, vulnerable, goofy and honest people. They aren’t afraid to make mistakes, they don’t believe in ‘same-old, same-old,’ and they tend to live with a book in one hand, a musical instrument in the other, and a never-ending sense of wonder.
My best days are spent immersed in stories, songs, and sweets. Because art feeds art, creativity is contagious, and chocolate is non-negotiable.
I love working one-on-one, gathering in small groups both online and in person to explore visions, refine work, bounce ideas back and forth and keep the creative flame shining.
At the recent Tap In Creativity Retreat for Writers, I indulged in a long weekend of focused time for painting, yoga, writing, sketching and singing with a group of amazing people who wanted to take their writing and creative hearts to the next level.
I’m planning another one for May 2024. Please sign up for my newsletter for details!
